J&J - Olivia's Story

We created a series of films for Johnson & Johnson’s In Front of Cancer work, telling personal stories connected to oncology, survival and the human experience behind the science.

This film follows Olivia, a real Johnson & Johnson colleague whose life and profession are deeply connected to oncology. Her story explores survival, diagnosis and the way cancer changes your relationship with time. Filmed in the UK, the project needed a careful balance of intimacy, trust and technical precision. Working with someone sharing deeply personal experiences meant creating the space for a natural, honest performance, allowing the film to feel reflective without being forced. We built the visual language around light, time and human detail, with careful use of AI as a VFX tool to build on our shot footage through subtle relighting, time-lapse effects and scene-setting moments that helped support the emotional shape of the film.
